Kholle House

Nestled in the heart of the old city, Kholle House offers a peaceful escape from the city's hustle. Originally built for Princess Kholle, daughter of Zanzibar's first Omani Sultan, the house was meticulously renovated and reopened in March 2011. It now provides a glimpse into the Princess's life and the rich 19th-century Spice Island culture. After its great re-launch, DarCity was part of the awareness troop the hotel used to attract more guests, playing a significant role in them becoming a top 9 hotel in Stone Town according to TripAdvisor.
